- Influenza Intro Activity - Responses - This was meant to assess students' prior knowledge about the topic for a day of guest teaching.
- Genetic Counseling Activity - Responses - The goal of this activity was to test students' understanding of topics covered during one of the guest lectures.

Honors Biology Lab

In the Fall of 2021, I taught the Honors section of an introductory lab. While doing so, I had the chance to create writing assignments. I broke the assignments into pieces of a scientific paper to give students practice with each section and a chance for feedback, then students wrote a full paper about a group research project they completed.

Introductory Biology Lab

My work as a Lab Instructor for this lab primarily involves facilitating activities that have been designed by the Lab Coordinator. Below are examples from a new activity in the Spring 2022 semester where students chose about what independent variable to manipulate, conducted an experiment to test the effect of that variable, then graphed and presented their results to the class.
