During my undergraduate degree, I worked as a Teaching Assistant, helping Lab Instructors in biology and anatomy lab courses. In graduate school, I was a Lab Instructor for an introductory biology lab. I taught the Honors Section of the lab for one semester, which involved more assessment design.

BIOL 191 - Biology 1: Cell and Molecular Biology Lab
Lab Instructor for an introductory biology course where I was responsible for 2 - 3 sections of 24 students. I created engaging lectures to introduce lab topics, set up and explained procedures, and graded student assessments.

Honors BIOL 191 - Biology 1: Cell and Molecular Biology Lab
Lab Instructor for the Honors section of an introductory biology course. In addition to material covered in all sections, this lab included an extra hour focused on scientific writing and experimental design. I created lectures and assessments for these portions of the lab.
